About Called To Freedom

“For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.”

Called to Freedom comes directly from Galatians 5:13—a verse that has taken on a deeply personal meaning in my life.

My name is Brandon, and this ministry wasn't born because I had everything figured out. It came through failure, conviction, repentance, and experiencing the grace of God firsthand.

I've known what it means to love God and still fall. My choices contributed to broken relationships, divorce, guilt, and consequences I couldn't undo. There were times I wondered how someone who once felt so on fire for God could wander so far—and whether God could still use someone like me.

But that's where I began to understand what biblical freedom really means.

Freedom in Christ isn't permission to sin. Galatians 5:13 makes that clear. It's freedom from the bondage of sin, condemnation, and trying to earn God's favor—and freedom to follow Christ and serve others.

Jesus said:

“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”
— John 8:36

That's why Called to Freedom exists.

This ministry is about studying Scripture in context, confronting difficult questions honestly, taking sin seriously while never making it greater than God's grace, and pointing broken people toward Jesus Christ.

I don't share Scripture because I've mastered the Christian life.

I share it because I need Christ every day too.

Called to Freedom is for the questioning, the struggling, the ashamed, and the believer trying to get back up and follow Jesus again.

We're not called to freedom so we can live for ourselves.

We're called to freedom so we can live for Christ and serve one another.

Not the story of a perfect man.
The story of a perfect Savior.
